Movie Plot: Rising Star is an Indian version of the international franchise series Rising Star, a reality television singing competition. It is based on the Israeli singing competition HaKokhav HaBa (meaning The Next Star) made by Keshet Broadcasting Ltd. The program format lets viewers vote for contestants via mobile apps. The show is scheduled to premiere sometime in the first quarter of 2017 and will be broadcast on Colors TV. The series will be aired on weekends’ nights.
